Not the right background for a card.

handmade card with a monster and a boy

Hello everyone!

I am back today with a card that I made last year. This is very CAS and I have to say that I wasn't very inspired when I made it. I got some comments than the embossed background doesn't fit the image, which it is true. I don't know, I think somedays it is not just my day to make cards.

Anyway, I am using the digital stamp called Boy and monster but you can find it as clear stamp too.

I colored it with copic markers and I thought I  had the colors written down somewhere, I didn't find them when I posted this card in my other blog and I didn't find them now (of course, one year later...).

I hope you like the card. What do you think about the background?

Hugs,

Patricia

Blue card with a mermaid

Card using swimming lessons mermaid digital stamp

Hello!

Today I bring this beautiful card made by Céline early this month using Swimming lessons digital stamp from the MerMay2018 project that I did on May.

She colored it with Copic markers and made an excellent job in her card. I love the colors she choose and the detail of the flowers, papers and drops.

Male birthday card with a viking

male birthday card with a viking digital stamp

Hi!

Do you find it difficult to make birthday cards for boys/men? I do... maybe is why I tend to draw more boys so it is easier to find an image.

Anyway. Sue made this birthday card using the image Viking that you can find in the store. She used pro markers to color the image. I loe the color combination.

Her layout is gorgeous. I love the papers and all the layers! I think she did a very good job in the design.

I hope you like it too. To see more details or cards visit her blog here

I hope you like today's inspiration. I will be back with more very soon!

Magical dragon

Handmade card using dragon flying digital stamp

Hello!!

Today I am showing you this fantastic card that Melissa made using Dragon flying digital stamp.

She made a great job in the coloring but the background is just stunning. I have seen around a lot of backgrounds made with inks and they are very pretty. I have never tried though. I don't have the inks anyway. She used inks to do the background and I think it is jut stunning.

I hope you like the card that Melissa made. You can find more details and other beautiful projects in her blog.

Have a great day!

Hugs,

Patricia

Just dance!

Pink ballerina card

Hi!

Are you a dancer? I have several ballerinas in my shop but I think this is still my favorite. The first one that I draw. Julie made this "odd" shaped project using Red and black love digital papers and Ballerina digital stamp. You can find this image as clear stamp too. Click here

What I love the most of this card is the shape and how Julie made all the matting between one layer and the other so perfect. I think the result is stunning. Of course her color is gorgeous too.

For more details, check her blog. She made the cutest cards!

Hugs,

Patricia

Merry Christmas with Santa

Christmas card using santa claus sketch digital stamp

How are you doing today?

Here I am again with a new card. I can't believe that I have so much to show you! I should have started the blog sooner ;).

Today's card was made by Kel and she is using Santa Claus sketch digital stamp. She colored it with Copic markers. I think I showed you the video she made with her coloring a while ago.

I love the background papers and the simple design. You know I am not very "shabby" person. I love those cards but, for me, the simpler the better.

I hope you like the card I have today! Thanks for stopping by!

Hugs,

Patricia

Christmas in July...in the sea...

Christmas mermaid digital stamp

Hi!!

Are you ready for more Christmas cards? I have some this month. For some reason there is this Christmas in July thing every year and, although I didn't plan it this way, I am posting more Christmas cards than usual. Funny.

This beautiful card was made by Fabiola using Christmas mermaid digital stamp for the mermaid and the snowman (or sandman?). She used the jelly fish and the starfish from the Baby mermaid digital stamp set.

I love the scene that she created with the image and all the rest of the elements. I hope you liked it too.

For more details, visit her blog ;).

Baby mermaid fun

Hello!

Did you see my release in June with all the mermaids? It was so fun to make them. Monika decided to use the Baby Mermaid digital stamp to make this card.

As usual, she colored it with pencils. I love the baby's tail. So bright and beautiful color! The design and papers that she used are perfect for the image.

You can find more details in her blog.
