Thinking of you card with a dog

Hi!!

Another of my cards today! This time I am using one of the dogs from the Dog digital stamp set. I colored with Copic markers and fuzzy cut it. I glued it with foam tape so it is raised from the card.

The purple frame is from one of the Easter Pastel digital papers. The file is pink but I changed the settings of my printer and it printed purple. I think it is cute. 

The sentiment says Thinking of you and it is from the Girl at the Window clear stamp. The sentiment is in Spanish too, but I wanted to have it in English (obviously).

Cute halloween card with a superhero dog

Hello!!!

So this month is Halloween uh? I hope you are getting ready for it. I have to admit that it is one of my favorite holidays. However, I have to make my kids costumes and it take a while until they decide what they want to be. 

Anyway...for this card I am using two different sets of digital stamps. The Dog set and the Halloween filler. What I did was to print everything separately (I printed so many dogs and fillers) so the sizes were perfect. I could have just done it all together but I liked the look of "clear stamp" set. 

I colored with my Copic markers and I added the sentiment stamping it with blank ink. I don't remember the brand of the stamp, sorry. 

The background is just a watercolor splatter of purple and orange.

CAS baby cards with a little puppy.

Hi there!

today I have a couple of baby cards. By the way, these and many more of my cards (any company, but little by little) are for sale in my store. Some didn't make it yet to the blog, others won't make it ever!

Anyway... for this couple of cards I wanted to use only a couple of digital stamps. I am using one of the dogs for the dog set and the dog bed that comes in the Dog days filler digital stamp set. 

I colored the images with copic markers and add them, with foam tape, to the front of the card. The sentiment is stamped and it is from Fiskars I think. 

And that is all the card. Very easy and fast to make. At some point you will want to make an elaborate card and at some other point you need something cute and fast...this is the one!

Embossed card with letterpressed letters.

Hello!

Today I have a card that I made. It is for sale here. Sometimes I make backgrounds and I just leave them. I try to use them for one card I have in mind, then it doesn't work and put it with other backgrounds in a pile of "maybe for another card". Then sometimes I think, I am going to use the background, and make the card around it. 

This time, I am using an embossed circular background but the tag...oh the tag...it has more work that you can imagine. I hope I can make a video sometime showing how I did it. Well, I will have to make a video, because I didn't make one while I did this one haha. 

Anyway, I cut the sentiment several times with my old Cricut machine. I glued the parts together and in a piece of cardstock. I added to the letters white glue and let it dry. Then I added letterpress ink to the letters and use my Sizzix to letterpress the letters into the cardstock. It really works well, but it doesn't show much in the photo. The thing is, that if you try to do it with regular ink it doesn't work too well. I don't think I try pigment ink though...

As I said... I will try to make a video one day...

Well, an then the images are digital stamps from different sets. The dog is from the dog set (great title!) and the balloon is for the birthday filler set (my inspiration for naming my stamps doesn't have limits, haha). I colored them with Inktense pencils and glue them to the card. 

And that is it! It is funny that I made this card in just a few minutes since I had all the pieces already ready. Sometimes experiments do work (even if at that moment you think they don't) so try to use everything you make :).

Time to celebrate ... Halloween?

Hello!

me here again today sharing with you this cute card I made using the Dog set digital stamp and the Halloween Filler digital stamp set from the new release I had in earlier this month.

I printed the images separately, colored them and then put them together as if it was a clear stamp set. What I did was print a full US letter of images and now I have them ready to make more and more projects. Then I saved the file so any time that I want to print it again, I just have to do that and not edit all the sizes. 

I colored the images with my Copic markers and glued them to the card. The cauldron is glued with foam tape so it is a little raised from the card. The sentiment is hand stamped and I added some sequins to embellish it a little more.
